BILLINGS DOJO

Our affiliate group located in downtown Billings is the only dedicated Aikido school in eastern Montana.  The dojo was established in 2007 by Sensei Scott Brady and Curt Thompson.  Terry Apa (2nd dan)  and James Quincy Sensei (2nd dan) are the dojo’s Head Instructors.

Classes are held at our dedicated training space at 2702 Minnesota Ave,  Billings MT 59101 in the “old” Laughing Dog Records location.  Our building structure boasts a proud Montana heritage as it’s one of the oldest structures in Billings and recognized on the National Historic Register.

General classes are held 3 times each week : Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Saturday Open Mat 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Please contact us for more information OR check the online calendar of events.

We also hold regional seminars at the Billings location.  These training sessions bring in senior level instructors and attract participants from across the US.  Here’s a group photo from MWA’s 15th Anniversary Celebration featuring George Ledyard 7th dan in 2022.
