Youth Program

is designed for children ages 6 – 12 years old.  Classes are structured to provide healthy physical movement and mental focus. Students are introduced to the basics of rolling (ukemi), safely falling and other essential aikido movements.  Co-ordinated body & mind exercises and character development are key elements of our proven methodology.

Not sure our program is a good fit for your child? Come for a FREE trail class and let them experience the fun.  Sessions are held every Wednesday and Friday (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.), accept on holidays.  Please see the dojo calendar for specifics.  The program is offered on a “all year round” training schedule, with a special 6 week summer program.  Enrollment for the latter is open in early May prior to the Livingston School district and other local institutions going on summer break.  Over the years our program has helped 100’s of children gain confidence and independence.
