Please join MWA in a wonderful opportunity to train with multiple highly experienced instructors. We’ve organized special training events that brings a variety of aikido lineage and approaches to provide workshop participants a wealth of knowledge. Our Spring event continues our mission to advance traditional aikido training and community development.

The workshop consists of 3 classes beginning on Friday evening (6:00 – 7:30 p.m.) followed by 2 session on Saturday (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m). Most instructors will also be available for “atokeiko” or a casual discussion after training at a local area dinning establishment. This is an informal approach allowing students to further converse with an instructor and receive added insight of the instructor’s teaching. This is an optional “no host” activity. Participants are encouraged to join the discussion.
These sessions focus on a personalized topic training. The series is open to anyone age 10+, regardless of experience level or aikido organizational affiliation. Our full 2026 program features 6 talented instructors from across the Rocky Mountain region leading these individual sessions.
